We have been waiting a long time for Anushka Sharma’s comeback on screen. And the wait is over! The most eagerly anticipated movie of 2023 is going to hit the OTT platform. The Chakda Xpress, which stars Anushka Sharma and is based on the life of former female cricketer Jhulan Goswami, has finished filming. The actress who has been practicing shooting the film for months now has wrapped the filming.
Anushka Sharma has worked hard and has been caught with extensive training and busy schedules for the film. Many people had already questioned Anushka's portrayal of Jhulan Goswami in the movie because of how much the filmmakers had played around with the actress's appearance, as evidenced by the shared photos taken on the set.
In pictures from the wrap, Anushka can be seen slicing the cake alongside Jhulan and the director Prosit Roy while sporting the Team India shirt. In another picture of Jhulan, the last clap that ends the shot may be seen. In one of the hilarious pictures taken on the sets, Anushka could be seen lying in a van as Jhulan claps while holding the clapperboard in front of her face. In the other picture, the actress is seen hugging the director while the rest of the cast cheers them on. Posting the pictures on her handle, she wrote, “It’s a wrap on #ChakdaXpress, and thank you JhulanGoswami for the final clap to bring an end to the shoot! #ComingSoon #ChakdaXpressOnNetflix”
Netflix will stream the biographical drama, which is directed by Prosit Roy. Chakda Xpress will revolve around the life of the former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, Jhulan Goswami.
