Boney Kapoor’s daughter Anshula Kapoor is on a quest to learn to love herself. Anshula Kapoor, sister of Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, has discussed how she overcame adversity in her life and emerged stronger. Arjun Kapoor has frequently stated that his sister is one of his greatest supporters. In every situation, she has always been by his side. Anshula recently recounted her battle story on social media, leaving everyone speechless.
Sharing a picture of her in a gym outfit, she wrote a long caption stating that it took her years of counseling to comprehend the beliefs that were running through her head and preventing her from fully loving herself. "So many tears. So much uncertainty. Fear. Setbacks. Discomfort. Self-doubt. Then came the self realisations. Thus began the healing," wrote the 31-year old starkid and entrepreneur.
Anshula went on to say that she realised her self-worth is not related to her physical looks or how people criticise or insult her for who she is after a two-year journey of self-discovery and self-love. She wrote, "It’s been a 2-year long journey, and I’m still a work in progress. It’s taken me almost as long to realize that my self worth isn’t tied to the shape of my body, and that constantly belittling or criticizing my imperfections & flaws isn’t doing me any good - regardless of whether that flaw is emotional or physical."
Anshula concluded her message by expressing she is still learning to embrace herself and her flaws. She believes that life is too short to feel unworthy and not love ourselves. "Life is too short to live it thinking you’re unworthy or unlovable. “I am flawed, and still worthy."
