Anil Kapoor compares THIS Indian filmmaker to A-list filmmakers of Hollywood.
Released on March 25, RRR (2022) is busy shattering box-office records with each passing day. Starring Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in important roles, the high-profile period drama has already collected more than ₹1000 crores at the box-office.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR was one of the most-awaited films of 2022. It has successfully met the high expectations of the audience and is receiving great response not only from critics across the world but several high-profile celebrities also.
After Kangana Ranaut recently released a video heaping praises on RRR, now evergreen Bollywood star Anil Kapoor has also praised the film. He has released a video showering praises on SS Rajamouli and his film.
The Malang (2020) star compared Rajamouli with the A-list directors of Hollywood. He also compared his films such as Eega, Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali: The Conclusion, and now RRR with Hollywood classics like Aliens, Terminator, Avatar and Titanic.
The actor also said that Rajamouli is India’s answer to Hollywood’s James Cameron and one day even more. He congratulated Rajamouli for making the Indian film fraternity proud with RRR and its success.
On the work front, Anil Kapoor will next be seen in Dharma Productions’ Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Neetu Kapoor.
