Amitabh Bachchan pens appreciation note for his Runway 34 co-star & director Ajay Devgn
Runway 34 starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles hit theatres on the 29th of April, 2022.
Recently, Ajay took to his social media handles to thank megastar Amitabh Bachchan for sending him a handwritten note of appreciation.
Amitabh Bachchan in his letter wrote, “Ajay Ajay Ajay, an absolute honour to be a part of ’34’ and to be the recipient of a magnificent director’s gift. Your work is superior. The way you have put everything together is simply marvellous. They say it’s your best, but I know that there shall be many more bests. Congratulations.”

Thanking his co-star, Ajay shared picture of thr letter and the flowers sent by Mr Bachchan and wrote, “When the illustrious and magnanimous Amitabh Bachchan stars in your directorial venture, it is an honour that is hard to encapsulate in words. And when he uses his heartfelt words in a hand-written note of appreciation it stirs emotions that are a heady mix of gratitude, quiet pride and satisfaction. Thank you Amit ji!”
For starters, Runway 34 is a thriller directed and produced by Ajay Devgn under his banner Ajay Devgn FFilms. The film stars Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh with Boman Irani, Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh playing pivotal roles.
The film is inspired by the true event of the Jet Airways Doha to Kochi flight 9W 555, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft that had a narrow escape on 18 August 2015, after facing difficulties to land at the Cochin International Airport due to bad weather and unclear visibility at 5:45 in the morning.
