Amit Sadh, who shared screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput in the 2013 film 'Kai Po Che!,' has opened up about his co-star's tragic death. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, in what was initially ruled as a suicide. However, the case is still under investigation by various agencies.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Amit Sadh revealed that he felt 'frustrated' for not being able to reach Sushant Singh Rajput before his demise. He said that he had tried to contact him several times, but could not get through. He also said that he was unaware of the troubles that Sushant Singh Rajput was going through.
Amit Shared about close bond with Sushant Singh Rajput, he said, "I tried to call him many times. I don't know what happened, But I felt frustrated for not being able to reach him."
He added, "I didn't know what he was going through. I wish I could have helped him in some way. He was such a brilliant actor and a wonderful person. He had so much potential and talent. He was one of the finest actors of our generation."
Amit Sadh also said that Sushant Singh Rajput's death had a profound impact on him and made him more alert and aware of his own mental health. He said that he realized that he had to take care of himself and his loved ones.
"My disappointment was that there was no way to reach him and that also affected me. Then I realized that you have to be more alert now. You have to take care of yourself and your family and friends. You have to be more compassionate and kind. You have to be more grateful for what you have," he said.

Amit Sadh was recently seen in Shilpa Shetty starrer 'Sukhee' a film based on housewife. He was also seen in a series 'Duranga'.
