An Instagram post by Instant Bollywood quoted the 'Brahmastra' actress saying that she is proud of her daughter Raha. Alia said, “I don't want it to seem like I am hiding my daughter. I am proud of her. If the cameras were not rolling right now, I would put a giant image of her on the screen. I love her. I am proud of our baby. But we are new parents. We don't know how we feel about her face splashed out all over the internet, she's barely a year old.”

Someone wrote, "Proud of what from a one year old child," while another user said, "Her statements are always baseless and stupid."
Meanwhile, some people have also come in defense of the actress saying, "She is hiding her daughter because she knows the men out there who is always craving for merciless acts.."
"They are the parents they have rights whatever they want.... these paps dont give privacy uske muh mein camera rakloge tum log," reads another comment on the viral post.
Someone slammed the trollers as he said, "It is precisely because of the insane comments here that they keep their baby away from social media.. no one makes the difference anymore even if it is a defenseless child, there are even women who also have children here who dare write horrible comments ... just because they are celebrities doesn't mean they don't have hearts and you can tell them whatever you want they are human too."
On Nov 6. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated their daughter Raha's first birthday. The intimate party was attended by their family members and closest of friends.
