Not only has Alia Bhatt made a name for herself as one of Bollywood's most successful actresses. She also entered the business field, opening the Ed-a-Mamma children's clothes boutique in 2020. Alia has thrived in this area as well, succeeding like a savvy businesswoman. The social networking product Ed-a-Mamma has gotten a lot of positive feedback from customers. In fact, Mukesh and Isha Ambani, two titans of business, have taken notice of this children's clothing line. According to speculations, Alia's Ed-a-Mamma would be purchased by Mukesh and Isha Ambani's Reliance Brands for an astronomical sum.

In order to purchase Ed-a-Mamma, Mukesh and Isha Ambani reportedly agreed to pay Alia Bhatt between Rs 300 and Rs 350 crores. According to the report, Mukesh and Isha Ambani would be able to strengthen their position in the children's apparel industry by purchasing Ed-a-Mamma. The deal between Mukesh-Isha Ambani and Alia Bhatt will reportedly be inked in the next seven to 10 days as negotiations are apparently nearing their end. Nevertheless, neither party has made a public statement about the situation.
In response to the lack of high-quality, locally produced children's clothing that was both reasonably priced and environmentally sustainable, Alia Bhatt founded Ed-a-Mamma, according to Pinkvilla. Toddlers between the ages of 4 and 12 are the target market for Ed-a-Mamma. The brand recently debuted clothing made specifically for newborns. The value of Alia Bhatt's clothing line was estimated at Rs 150 crore in the previous year.
Reliance Retail, owned by Mukesh and Isha Ambani, is currently valued at around Rs 918000 crore. It seems to reason that purchasing Ed-a-Mamma brands will allow them to develop their market segment further. Isha Ambani was named the new CEO of Reliance Retail by Mukesh Ambani in August of last year. Numerous international brands are available in India as Reliance Retail partner brands, including Jimmy Choo, Georgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Versace, Michael Kors, Brooks Brothers, Armani Exchange, Burberry, and others.
