Alia Bhatt is officially ‘the Bahu’ of the Kapoor family now!

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have eventually married after causing quite a stir with their affair and wedding. Yes! Ranbir and Alia are now legally married. The power couple married in a small traditional ceremony. The wedding took place at Ranbir's home in Vastu and was conducted by the couple's close friends and family. To be sure, rumors about Ranbir and Alia's April wedding have been circulating for quite some time. Nevertheless, the couple and their closest relatives have remained silent on the matter.

It is revealed that the couple exchanged vows prior to their traditional ceremony at Ranbir and Alia's wedding. According to media reports, the couple had a peach-themed wedding, and Alia wore Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi gowns. Surprisingly, Ranbir and Alia's pre-wedding festivities began earlier this week.

In the meantime, their team had tightened guards to keep the wedding plans hidden. Alia's security chief contacted the Mumbai Police, and guards were seen sealing staff mobiles before entering the house to prevent the photos from being leaked. Their names have also been added to each other's Wikipedia pages as spouses.

In terms of work, the new couple will be seen sharing screen time for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's highly anticipated fantasy drama Brahmastra. The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni, is set to hit theatres on September 9 of this year.
