Brahmastra is now getting ready for release and stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Along with Ayan Mukerji, the two have been keeping busy with film promotions. Yesterday, the pair were refused entry into a temple in Ujjain. Today, the actress addressed the situation during a press conference in Delhi. The team was questioned during the press conference about if there is currently an unfavorable climate for Bollywood or the release of the film.
Alia Bhatt stressed that we must maintain a positive attitude and everything is well
She said, “Climate bas ye hai ki September hai Phir October aayega (climate is such that it is September right now and it will be followed by October). There is no such thing. It is a beautiful environment to release a movie. Right now, we need to be healthy, happy, safe, and secure. We should all feel grateful for just life in general. So aise Kuch mat bolo, AAP mat spread Karo. The environment is not negative. Everything is positive, everything is good. And that is it.”
Bajrang Dal protesters blocked the actors from entering the Mahakaleshwar Temple on Tuesday when they traveled to Ujjain to seek Lord Shiva's blessings for their upcoming movie, Brahmastra. Men opposed Ranbir throughout their visit to the temple because of the 11-year-old remark that is currently trending on social media. He previously admitted that he enjoys eating beef and shared the video on social media.
In the Astraverse, a fictional realm, Brahmastra is planned to be the first film in a trilogy. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Dharma Productions and Star Studios, will be released in theatres on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
