Ever since her debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the year’ with Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. She has come a long way and shown the audience her range as an actor with films like ‘Highway’, U’dta Punjab’, ‘Dear Zindagi’, ‘Raazi’, ‘Gully Boy’ and some real crowd stunners like ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ’Darlings’.
The makers of the much-awaited ‘Brahmastra’ held a pre-release event which saw Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni, SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and more in attendance. The event was held in Hyderabad. Unfortunately, a grand launch event was cancelled due to security reasons. They then held a press interaction in a hotel. The team and the chief guest of honour Jr NTR spilt the beans on details about the film. The director of the film Ayan Mukerji was not at the event as he was working on parts of the film.
The highlight of the event was not Alia’s outfit with a sign at the back but her singing. Yes! The star sang the film's hit song ‘Kesariya’. Not just that, she sang the song in Telugu. Her nightingale voice chartered everyone.
The film ‘Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva is slated to release on the 9th of September. The cast of the films comprises Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.
