Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff have been roped in to play lead roles in the upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. But there has been news that director Ali Abbas Zafar is shelving the project. However, declining any such rumours, he has said, “This is absolutely baseless. We are very much on track and there’s no truth to the shelving rumours.”
He further added, “We are currently working on the pre-production. I don’t know where these rumours are coming from. For a film of this large scale, months of pre-production are needed. We will go on floors by the end of this year or early next year and shoot in the UK.”
Meanwhile, the teaser of the film has already been released and it’s created a lot of hype. Not to forget, the film marks the first collaboration of Ali Abbas Zafar with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
Touted to be one of the biggest action thrillers of Bollywood, the budget of the film is around Rs 350 crore, making it one of the costliest Hindi films to date. The movie is expected to hit the screens on Christmas 2023.
