Fardeen Khan is making a much-anticipated return to the silver screen, after a hiatus since 2010. He is set to star in the Sanjay Gupta production titled ‘Visfot’, alongside Riteish Deshmukh, Priya Bapat, and Krystal D'Souza. This film, directed by Kookie Gulati, is a remake of the Venezuelan crime thriller ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ (2012). Fardeen is also rumored to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ambitious project, ‘Heeramandi’, although official confirmation of his casting is pending. With these comeback projects generating excitement, Fardeen Khan has now added another feather to his cap.

As per reports, Fardeen Khan will be collaborating with director Mudassar Aziz, known for films like ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ and ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’. This upcoming project, tentatively titled ‘Khel Khel Mein’. "It's an ensemble-cast project centered around long-time friends who gather for dinner and decide to play a game that unveils their secrets, resulting in hilarious chaos. Fardeen portrays one of Akshay's friends in this film and is thrilled to explore comedy on screen again after a 13-year hiatus. This collaboration also marks an exciting reunion for Mudassar Aziz, who teams up with Fardeen again after their first collaboration, Dulha Mil Gaya," a source revealed to an entertainment news portal.

As per reports, Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor are the leading ladies, though their casting remains unconfirmed. Pre-production for the movie is in full swing, with filming scheduled to commence in the UK next month. Akshay Kumar, meanwhile, will begin work on this film following the release of his thriller drama, ‘Mission Raniganj’, hitting theaters on October 6.

Following ‘Khel Khel Mein’, Akshay Kumar has a busy schedule ahead. He is expected to work on the fourth installment of the ‘Housefull’ franchise, with a significant portion of the film set to be shot in London. Afterward, he will dive into Subhash Kapoor’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’ around February 2024. Only once these projects are wrapped up will he begin shooting for the eagerly awaited ‘Welcome 3’, titled ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. This film boasts a star-studded ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, and Tusshar Kapoor, among others. Akshay Kumar also has two more movies lined up for release: Dharma Productions’ biopic on C. Shankaran Nair and Maddock Films’ aviation thriller, ‘Sky Force’. Additionally, Ali Abbas Zafar’s action entertainer, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, is slated for an Eid 2024 release.
