It is not required to introduce Bollywood's most famous actor Akshay Kumar. The decades-long success he has had in Bollywood speaks for itself. In more than three decades of performing, Akshay has been in more than 100 movies, including Dhadkan, Hera Pheri, Rowdy Rathore, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and many others. The actor has returned from Saudi Arabia's Jeddah Red Sea International Film Festival. At the event, Akshay disclosed that sex education would be the focus of his upcoming endeavor.
Now, according to sources, Akshay was discussing OMG- Oh My God 2, which is said to be a hard-hitting yet entertaining courtroom drama wherein a concerned citizen petitions the court and requests mandatory sex education in schools. The second installment will share a heavenly link with the first one. "The unusual court case involving sex education and the God factor have been cleverly interwoven by the writers and director Amit Rai. The creators are optimistic that it will draw viewers and spark conversation, "the report stated.
Speaking earlier at the Red Film International Festival, Akshay said the movie is among his best creations and deals with a crucial issue. Speaking on the issue, he stated that it is not taught in many areas and that sex education is one subject he would like to teach in all of the world's schools. The actor predicted that the film's release would occur in April or May.
OMG- Oh My God 2 will also have Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, and Arun Govil in addition to Akshay. The actor released the first movie posters in 2021 and captioned them as:’‘कर्ता करे न कर सके शिव करे सो होय ..’
Need your blessings and wishes for #OMG2, our honest and humble attempt to reflect on an important social issue. May the eternal energy of Adiyogi bless us through this journey. हर हर महादेव’
On the work front, Akshay will next appear in the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the biopic of Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill, and the Marathi movie Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat.
