Akshay Kumar joins Vaani Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu for ‘Khel Khel Mein’

Actor Akshay Kumar has agreed to star in Mudassar Aziz's comedy Khel Khel Mein, which is his fourth comedy to date.

The actor, who was most recently seen in Raksha Bandhan, was previously linked to the project, but nothing was confirmed until recently. However, people familiar with the project tell us that it is proceeding as planned and that the remainder of the cast has already been chosen.

Despite declining to appear in "Hera Pheri 3," Akshay Kumar has replaced the film with another entertaining comedy. According to reports, Akshay has committed to Mudassar Aziz's upcoming film.

Akshay will reteam with two of his leading ladies, Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor, for the movie "Khel Khel Mein." Ammy Virk, a singer and actor from the Punjab, will play a crucial part in this entertaining movie. It is said that "Khel Khel Mein" will open in theatres in 2023 and promises to be a hilarious ride. The same has not yet been officially announced by Akshay Kumar and his team.

In addition, Akshay is preparing for his Marathi debut. His performance as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Mahesh Manjrekar's upcoming film "Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat" will be watched by the public. Akshay had previously stated that playing a famous historical figure, “It's a dream come true role for me. I think to portray Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the big screen is a very huge responsibility. I was taken aback when Raj sir asked me to portray this role. I feel so good to be playing this part and it's going to be a dream come true role for me. Also, I will be working for the first time with Director Mahesh Manjrekar, and it is going to be an experience.”

Other upcoming projects for Akshay include "Selfiee," "OMG - Oh My God 2," "Capsule Gill," "Gorkha," the remake of "Soorarai Pottru," and "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan."
