Ajay Devgn admits that he hasn't watched Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR; 'Don't like watching my films’

The film Runway 34 (2022), starring Ajay Devgn, was released on Friday in theaters. Cinephiles flocked to local theaters to see the film, and many were thrilled about it. In a recent interview with a news outlet, Ajay Devgn admitted that he hasn't seen his two most recent films, Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022) and RRR (2022), which were both released just a few months back.

In Gangubai Kathiawadi, Ajay played Karim Lala, the man who elevated Alia Bhatt's title character to tremendous power in Kamathipura. He played the father of Ram Charan's character in RRR, which also featured a brief appearance by Alia as Sita.

The Ishq (1997) actor has recently revealed that he has not seen any of the two films, as he dislikes watching his own work after a certain amount of time. Ajay noted that while he is satisfied with his work while performing it, when he sees it a few months later, he begins to feel that he might have done better.

Ajay went on to say that he doesn’t watch a lot of movies. He also revealed that he hasn’t watched his wife Kajol and Shahrukh Khan’s 90s hit film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995).

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay's Runway 34 is based on a genuine story. Captain Vikrant Khanna is his character, while Rakul Preet Singh plays his co-pilot. Amitabh Bachchan plays an investigative officer in the film.
