Ahead of Vikram Vedha’s release, Saif Ali Khan shares his views on being compared to R Madhavan

One of the most charming and versatile actors in Bollywood is Saif Ali Khan who has been in the acting industry for almost three decades. The actor is one of the finest artists that Bollywood has. Saif who is aging like fine wine is all set to unleash his action avatar in his upcoming film Vikram Vedha. The film is an actual remake of the Tamil original hit under the same name and with the same directors. Vijay Sethupati played the thug in the original which is now portrayed by Hrithik Roshan in the remake and R Madhavan played the cop while Saif Ali Khan plays the same in this film. Both the actors in the Tamil original garnered applause from the audiences for their performance.

Here’s what Saif Ali Khan has to say about getting compared to R Madhavan!

Now, in a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan openly spoke about him being compared to R Madhavan when asked about his views or how it feels to be compared. He said, "Once someone told me something. We are known as stars, and the galaxy is full of them. And the fact that everyone is unique explains why there are so many. I, therefore, think I may offer a unique perspective on it.” He also went on to praise Madhavan and his performance and said that he is not the one to worry about comparisons.

Earlier, Madhavan was asked about the film and Saif reprising his role in the Hindi remake, to which he replied, “Saif is incredibly endearing, and I believe he will add a fresh perspective to the part that I haven't seen before. You won't receive a typical product from Pushkar and Gayathri. I believe the Hindi cinema industry will enjoy the flavour, and I'm interested to see what Hrithik and Saif have brought to the character.”

Directed by Pushkar and Gayathri, the film stars Radhika Apte in a pivotal role. The film will release on September 30 on the same day when Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan I will hit the screens.
