Ahead of her Bollywood debut, Goodbye star Rashmika Mandanna speaks on North vs South and language barriers

Language or industry has never been a barrier for her, she mentioned. “There was never a barrier due to industry or language. Since the start of my career, let's say five years ago, I've done movies in a variety of industries and languages, and I've always felt quite at home doing it. That, in my opinion, is how I keep it exciting as an actor. Given that they are now referring to it as a pan-Indian picture, which audiences all over the world are seeing and adoring, the North versus South dispute is also, in my opinion, ebbing away. As an actor, I believe that is the perspective I have.”

Talking about the script being the most important thing, the actress said, "Like for me, the script is what matters in the end. My co-workers are on the team, so what role do I play in that? Will it be enjoyable for me to film it? Finally, the audience will adore it. I believe that is how I approach photography and working. And I'm overjoyed. Of course, people adore the idea that is emerging at this time.”
