Chhello Show was officially declared as the entry from India for 95th Academy Awards 2023. There were many other films including Rajamouli’s RRR, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, and R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi effect. Madhavan is well recognized for playing a variety of characters on screen, and his career success is attested to by the fact that he has won three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. He has distinguished himself not only via his outstanding performances in the Bollywood industry but also by the presentation of his skills in South Indian cinema.

R Madhavan reacts on Chhello Show beating Rocketry and The Kashmir Files for India’s official entry to Oscars.

R Madhavan, who is now promoting his next movie Dhoka Round D Corner spoke on Chhello Show that he will represent India as the official entry at the Oscars in 2023, beating out hits like The Kashmir Files and his film Rocketry. He said, “I think they should send Rocketry also, The Kashmir Files. Darshan is starting a campaign for The Kashmir Files, I am starting a campaign for Rocketry.” Later he wished the team of Chhello Show saying, “All the best to them. I hope they go and win and make us proud. It’s time that we do as well in the film industry as we do as a country.”

R Madhavan both directed and played the character of Nambi Narayan in the film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The film was released in theatres on July 1 and was acclaimed by critics and audiences. Madhavan’s acting and dedication were also appreciated. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya both played cameo appearances in Hindi and Tamil, respectively.
