A number of films have been shot and completed but never released. These films are frequently forgotten by the general public and are only recognized as a failed project. Naam, directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Ajay Devgn, is one of these films. However, it appears that the picture will finally see the light of day after a 16-year hiatus. Yes, you read that correctly; the film will soon be released on television, and here's all you need to know about it.

According to reports, Anees Bazmee is planning to revive his project Naam. Ajay Devgn, Sameera Reddy, and Bhumika Chawla appear in the film. The filmmaker is deciding whether it will be an OTT release or if it will air on television, similar to It's My Life (2020). According to the director, Ajay Devgn's performance in the thriller is his best of all time. For the unversed, Anees Bazmee's last film to see a television release was Its My Life (2020).

Talking to the portal, Ajay Devgn’s Naam director Anees Bazmee said, “The producer has said Naam is releasing soon. I don’t have any more details on this.”

The Ajay Devgn-starrer was originally titled Benaam and was shot in 2004. Priyanka Chopra was first offered the part, but it was eventually given to Sameera Reddy. Himesh Reshammiya composed the music for the film. The film was rumored to be set for a 2013 release, however it never happened.
