New mom in town Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is on cloud nine post the birth of her little baby son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. Recently, the actress took to her official Instagram handle to share pictures of Vayu's new clothes and toys, which were a part of a Dussehra special hamper.
Sharing pics of the gift hamper by the label Oh Baby, Sonam wrote, “Thank you.” It consisted of a specially-designed basket decorated with flowers, and white, grey and blue balloons. Vayu’s name in blue further added to the awe-inspiring hamper, which contained a giraffe stuffed toy, a green T-shirt, a striped black and white top and pants set, along with other clothes and toys.
Noteworthy, on September 20 (a month after the birth of their son) Sonam and Anand took to social media to announce the name of their first child as Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. “In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives. In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength… In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. In Hindu scriptures Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind,” Sonam captioned the post in which she, Anand and Vayu can be seen in yellow clothes.
On work front, Sonam will next feature in Shome Makhija's upcoming crime thriller Blind. Produced by Sujoy Ghosh, the film features Sonam K Ahuja in lead role, with Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey as supporting characters.
Blind is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name and centres around a blind police officer who is in search of a serial killer.
