According to reports, Tollywood actor Adivi Sesh is planning to remake an Oscar-winning film with the makers of the much-talked-about blockbuster film The Kashmir Files (2022).

Talking to a publication, he revealed that though he has a number of films in the pipeline, he will next commence work on a film which will be a remake of an Oscar-winning movie. The actor added that he is set to work on a Hindi film that The Kashmir Files producer Abhishek Agarwal is set to bankroll under his banner.

Meanwhile, Adivi Sesh is presently busy promoting his much-anticipated film Major. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film is a biographical drama based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Apart from playing the titular role, the actor has also written the script of the film.

Major has faced numerous delays in its release due to the coronavirus pandemic. The original release date was 2 July 2021, but now the film is slated to enter theatres on 27 May 2022. It has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and dubbed into Malayalam.

Adivi Sesh reportedly also headlines Hit: The Second Case, to be directed by Sailesh Kolanu. Meekashi Chaudary has been paired opposite him as the female. The actor also stars in Goodachari 2.
