Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, welcomes Sonal Chauhan to the cast

A new cast member has joined Om Raut's forthcoming film 'Adipurush.' Jannat (2008) actress Sonal Chauhan has joined the film's main cast, alongside Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon. The actress will play a significant role in the legendary film, which is based on the Ramayana.

When asked about the reports that she will be in Adipurush, the actress confirmed the claims, telling a leading daily, "Yes, I'm a part of Adipurush and I'm excited about it. It's a very different world from the kind of work I've done so far. I am sure the audience will enjoy the magnum opus that is Adipurush."

The film will be released in Hindi and Telugu, and will be directed by Om Raut, who made his Bollywood directorial debut with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020).

It would be thrilling to witness Sonal's ability shine on the big screen in such a role, as this is her first mythological project. She was last featured in the film The Power, starring Vidyut Jammwal, which was released in 2021.

In addition to Adipurush, the actress will star in the film The Ghost. Sonal took over for Jacqueline Fernandes, who had been cast in the main role of The Ghost, and this is Sonal's debut collaboration with Nagarjuna. Praveen Sattaru is the director of this high-octane action film.
