Mukesh Khanna, who is best known for playing Bheeshma in the famous TV show Mahabharat, has recently said bad things about the latest movie ‘Adipurush’, its director Om Raut, and its writer Manoj Muntashir. Even though it has big names like Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in it and is directed by Om Raut, Adipurush has been getting bad reviews lately. At first, Muntashir said that it was based on the epic Ramayana, but he later said that it was more inspired by the story than a straight copy. The movie is still getting bad reviews, and now Mukesh Khanna has joined the crowd of people who don't like it.

He went on to say that the movie was a disrespectful take on the holy book Valmiki Ramayana and an insult to it. Mukesh wondered who gave the filmmakers permission to make such a risky movie. He also worried if the censor board would forgive them or if people would turn down this expensive movie. He ended by saying that he didn't know what would happen.

This is not the first time someone has said bad things about ‘Adipurush’. After the trailer for the movie came out, Mukesh Bhatt criticised Saif Ali Khan's looks, saying that he looked like Khilji from the movie ‘Padmaavat’. Bhatt said that he was worried that changing the way characters’ look would make the audience lose faith in them. He also said that it was important to keep the story's identity when making films about these kinds of topics.
