‘Adipurush’, directed by Om Raut, will have its international premiere at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival, the makers said on Tuesday. Adipurush's teaser was criticized by netizens following its debut due to its poor visual effects. However, Raut has vowed that the ambitious Ramayana adaptation will leave fans with no complaints when it hits the big screen.
In a statement regarding the film's Tribeca premiere, Om Raut commented, "Adipurush is not a film, it is an emotion, a sentiment!" It is our concept of a story that captures the essence of India. This premiere at Tribeca Festival is very strange for me and the entire team since we get to exhibit a narrative that is deeply rooted in our culture on a worldwide scale. We are ecstatic to see how the audience reacts at the international premiere."

Due to the unfavorable response to the teaser, the picture was postponed to October 2022. Many fans expressed their excitement for the film as soon as the picture was out, but many netizens turned to Twitter to express their disgust with the film's poster, Bad VFX, and how inappropriately the characters were portrayed in the poster. Many of them slammed the filmmakers and demanded that the film be banned.
In addition to Prabhas, Sunny Singh, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan play important parts in ‘Adipurush’. The film will now be released on June 16, 2023. The first teaser was released a few months ago, and according to reports, the makers will shortly begin promotions and release teaser 2 for the film.
