On August 7, the inaugural episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, one of the most watched game shows in India, will premiere. With the debut of season 14, KBC will return to television. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will host the show, as he has done since its beginning in 2000, with the exception of the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
According to reports, Aamir Khan will appear in the first episode to promote his upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha. A few heroes from real life will also feature in the episode. National icons, including athletes, police officers, and army officers, will be seen participating in the game with Mr. Bachchan.
A new prize money slot of ₹75 lakhs has been added to the KBC contest, which will premiere on Sony TV. Aiming to commemorate India's freedom for 75 years, the action has been taken. KBC 14 has yet to make an announcement on its launch date.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha is an official Hindi remake of the 1994 film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks in the lead role. Lal Singh Chaddha, directed by Advait Chandan also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in key roles.
Apart from KBC 14, Amitabh has a number of projects in the pipeline including Brahmastra, Project K and The Intern's Hindi remake.
