In Bollywood, Aamir Khan is regarded as a perfectionist. It was difficult for him to accept all the adulation following his debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, which also starred Juhi Chawla, Dalip Tahil, and others because he is a shy person. Just a 4-digit remuneration was given to the performer for the movie. The PK star talked about it in a recent media interview. See it by scrolling down!

In terms of his professional life, Aamir most recently appeared in the Hindi remake of the classic film Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha. Although it didn't perform well at the box office, the public did show some admiration after it was released on OTT.

AAMIR KHAN STATED

Returning to the media discussion, Aamir Khan spoke candidly about how the Mansoor Ali Khan film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak altered his life in an interview. He spoke about it and said, “I don’t care about awards. I shouldn’t be talking like this but I had doubts regarding the awards. I didn’t have so much regard for awards. Winning them was not that big of a moment for me, but the experience of making the film was a big moment for me.”

Aamir Khan also revealed that while working on the movie, he received 1000 rupees every month. "Mansoor is an excellent director with an excellent mind. I gained a lot of knowledge and advanced quickly. On that set, in addition to playing their actor, I also served as their first assistant director. I had earned Rs 1000 a month, and during that time, 1000rs was enough for me.”

Aamir Khan admitted later in the chat that he wasn't sure how to handle his fame at the time. He said, "When it was first launched, it went over the ceiling. I was shocked when youth and families blocked the theatres because I believed my work was mediocre at best. I liked Juhi and Mansoor’s work, but not mine. So my first film was a super hit and I became a star overnight to my surprise. I didn’t know what stardom was, but things changed because I couldn’t travel freely anymore, and people began to recognize me. Then I borrowed an old fiat from someone, however even in that, people would recognize me, and autos and cars would come and stop, eventually blocking the road. It was like a tidal wave.”

It had gotten more difficult for Aamir to use the highways freely after the film's release. He was finding it difficult to even stay in hotels. He also stated how he felt: “I felt my life had become difficult to live, so I started running away from it all since I am a shy guy and I am not good at taking praise.”

In any case, Aamir Khan earned every bit of the fame that followed after the premiere of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak
