Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta for 16 years before marrying Kiran Rao. In the meanwhile, Kiran and Aamir divorced in 2021. Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's 16-year marriage ended in 2002, although it was not a painful divorce. They have two children: son Junaid Khan and daughter Ira Khan. The ex-couple maintains a friendly connection. On September 13, the two were photographed exiting a store together in Mumbai.

Last month, Aamir Khan and his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, were spotted at a book launch in Bandra, Mumbai. They were present for the book launch of filmmaker Mansoor Khan's One: The Story of Ultimate Myth.

Meanwhile, Aamir and his first wife Reena were photographed exiting a store in Mumbai on September 13th. The ex-couple also willingly posed for the photographers. Reena wore purple kurta and white slacks, while Aamir chose a blue kurta and jeans. After posing for the cameras, the two made their way to their car and drove away together.

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's love began in a highly cinematic manner. Both were neighbours who often exchanged long-distance stares via their windows. Aamir eventually mustered the guts to tell her about his feelings, but Reena refused. He tried to persuade her a couple more times, but she always said no.

Just as Aamir was about to give up hope, Reena admitted to him that she felt the same way about him. In a 1999 interview, he stated, "I spent a little more time than natural in front of my window." I just told her I loved her and hoped she felt the same way about me."

In 1986, Aamir and Reena married. The couple's marriage terminated in 2002. Aamir later married Kiran Rao in 2005, and the couple has a son, Azad Rao Khan. Their marriage, however, dissolved in 2021.
