26/11 hero Sandeep Unnikrishnan's biopic Major to arrive on 3rd June
Major, based on the life of real-life national hero Sandeep Unnikrishnan, is one of the most awaited films of 2022. After facing a series of setbacks due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film, starring Adivi Sesh in the titular role, is set to land in theatres on 3rd June, 2022.
Designed for the big screen experience and mounted on a lavish scale, Major is a bilingual film shot in both Hindi and Telugu. The makers have decided to release it in Malayalam as well.
Celebrating the spirit of Sandeep Unnikrishnan's life, Major traces the varied phases of the beloved martyr's life, sneak peeks of which were witnessed in the teaser that has been playing in cinemas with all the recent blockbuster films.
Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. In addition to Adivi Sesh, the film also features Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma in important roles.
The film is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam on 3rd June, 2022.
