Milind Gunaji Biography

This Indian actor is well-known for his impeccable acting skills in Marathi and Hindi cinema. Milind Gunaji is an actor, author, host and model. On Zee Marathi channel, Milind hosted a travel show called 'Bhatkanti'. He is the brand ambassador for forest and wildlife of Government of Maharashtra. This talented actor was also briefly featured in a Tamil film 'Aalavandhan' and a Telugu flick 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum'. He also appeared in a Kannada film 'Karthik'. Apart from this, Gunaji acted in a Punjabi movie too, titled 'Rab Ton Sonha Ishq'.

Talking about his debut in Bollywood, he featured in 1994 release 'Papeeha'. In the film 'Fareb' in the year 1996, Milind attracted the eyeballs over his performance. He essayed the inspector Indrajeet Saxena in this flick. He even gained nomination from the Filmfare Awards for the Best Performance in a Negative Role category. For a famous Marathi magazine 'Lokprabha', Milind used to write a weekly column as a travel writer. He published his book 'Majhi Mulukhgiri' by compiling all of his weekly columns on travel writing. Milind has done several modelling assignments by stating that "it satisfies my ego and gives good monetary returns".

He was also the brand ambassador of the Novel Institute Group's NIBR College of Hotel Management in the year 2009. The actor featured in various Hindi films like 'Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya', 'Mulaqaat', 'Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa', 'Zor', 'LOC - Kargil', 'Aan', 'Virasat', 'Devdas', 'Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai', 'Come December', 'Black and white', 'Yeh Mera India', 'Jigyaasa', 'Khatta Meetha', 'Kamasutra 3D' and many more. For his excellent acting in the film 'Virasat', he was nominated for Filmfare Best Villain Award. Gunaji's towering personality and mighty voice tone provided him an extra edge on the silver screen.

Milind Gunaji featured in Marathi films like 'Ek Shodh', 'Sarkarnama', etc. He appeared in the very famous music album by Vaishali Samant 'Aika Dajiba'. The actor also acted in television series like "Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan", "Veer Shivaji" and "Hum Ne Ki Hai Shapath". His other works include 'Offbeat Tracks in Maharashtra', 'Mystical Magical Maharashtra', 'Gudha Ramya Maharashtra' and 'A Travel Guide Offbeat Tracks in Maharashtra'.
