He directed hit movies like 'Vaastav', 'Astitva', 'Viruddh' etc. Then gradually took on to acting and appeared and was praised in movies like 'Kaante', 'Praan Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaye', 'Plan', 'Zinda', 'Wanted', 'Teen Patti', 'Dabangg', 'Ready', 'Bodyguard', 'OMG Oh My God!'.
